Technical Exercises

This is a great daily exercise. It covers many different finger combinations in a very short sequence- scales, thirds, and major and dominant 7ths arpeggios. Take a tempo for each scale that is comfortable. Play with fingers close to the keys, have the flute well balanced and always play with an even tone. Apply different articulations and most of all enjoy them.

To be played in all Major and Harmonic Minor Key signatures. Do not rush the 5's and work on legato throughout.
